The Orientation Programme for Postgraduate Regular Programmes was successfully conducted today at the Institute of Administrative Sciences (IAS), University of the Punjab, welcoming newly admitted students enrolled in the MPA, MPhil Management, and PhD programmes.
The session commenced with a warm welcome by Prof. Dr. Kashif Rathore (Director IAS), who shared the Institute’s expectations from the newly enrolled students and highlighted what they can expect from IAS in terms of academic excellence, research, professional development, and a supportive learning environment.
Dr. Amani Moazzam, MPhil Management Coordinator, moderated the session and facilitated an interactive discussion with the newly admitted students.
The session was attended by Prof. Dr. Aamir Saeed, Prof. Dr. Yamina Salman, Prof. Dr. Sobia Khurram (MSHRM Coordinator), Dr. Sidra Irfan (MPA Programme Coordinator), Dr. Aisha Rizwan, Dr. Tayyab Ali Khan, Dr. Samia Tariq, Dr. Ghalib Ata, and Dr. Madiha Malik.
The faculty members interacted with the students and responded to their queries regarding academic programmes, courses, research, programme requirements, and their overall academic journey at IAS.
Day 1 marked the beginning of the three-day Orientation Programme, which will continue from 1st to 3rd September 2026, in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor (PVC) and the Office of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, University of the Punjab.IAS warmly welcomes its new postgraduate scholars and wishes them a rewarding, productive, and successful academic journey ahead.
