Day 1-IAS hosts officers from Civil Services Academy

📢 The Institute of Administrative Sciences (IAS), University of the Punjab, is delighted to host a group of 14 CTP under-training officers from the Civil Services Academy (CSA) for a two-day professional attachment program.

👥 Day 1 Highlights:

Prof. Dr. Kashif Rathore Director, Institute of Administrative Sciences, welcomed the group and discussed how the new spirit of networking, collaboration, and inclusivity infused into the training of civil servants at an early stage will transform the service orthodoxy into an organic and responsive powerhouse of development.

An insightful session on “Collaborative Governance and Academia–Government Linkages” by Dr Sidra Irfan, Associate Professor, exploring how evidence-based partnerships strengthen public policy and service delivery.

A practitioner’s perspective by Mr. Tariq Mehmood, ex Federal Secretary on Academia–Civil Services Collaboration, emphasizing real-world applications of research in governance.

🎓 As part of this attachment, IAS has also scheduled an interactive session between IAS students and the CSA officers, creating a unique platform for experience sharing, mentorship and mutual learning.

IAS continues to promote meaningful engagement between academia and the public sector, nurturing future leaders equipped with both scholarly insight and practical wisdom.
