The Institute of Administrative Sciences (IAS), University of the Punjab, organized a one-day awareness session on “Sustainable Finance and Climate Change” on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, conducted by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The session highlighted the role of financial institutions in promoting sustainable practices, managing climate risks, and supporting Pakistan’s green transition. Students learned about sustainable finance frameworks, green banking, and global best practices.
Prof. Dr. Kashif Rathore, Director IAS, thanked the SBP team for the informative session and emphasized the importance of student awareness on climate and sustainability issues.
