The Institute of Administrative Sciences (IAS) celebrated its 10th Graduation Ceremony on 30th November 2024, honoring the graduates of the BS Management, Master of Marketing, and Master of Human Resource Management programs from the Class of 2021. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Worthy Vice Chancellor of the University of the Punjab, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, as the Chief Guest.
The prestigious event was also attended by Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Anwar Chaudhry, Dean, Faculty of Business, Economics, and Administrative Sciences; Mr. Rauf Nawaz, Controller of Examinations; Prof. Dr. Kashif Rathore, Director of IAS; Mr. Hasan Rauf, Resident Auditor; Prof. Dr. Yaamina Salman, Director External Linkages; esteemed faculty members; students; and, most importantly, our pride—the graduates.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a soulful Naat-e-Rasool (SAWW).
In his welcome address, Prof. Dr. Kashif Rathore, Director of IAS, extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, faculty, and graduates. He highlighted the institute’s achievements, shared its progress, and unveiled future plans aligned with the university’s vision and the challenges of a globalized world. Dr. Rathore advised the graduates to serve their respective organizations and the nation with compassion and professional integrity. He also expressed his gratitude to the organizing team of the event, led by Dr. Sajid Nazir, Program Coordinator, and Dr. Aisha Rizwan, Students’ Advisor. Dr. Rathore further announced the institute’s intention to make the graduation ceremony a regular annual feature.
Following the Director’s address, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, addressed the audience, sharing his profound insights on the themes of giving and success. He also outlined his vision for transforming the University of the Punjab into an institution that not only fulfills its immense potential but also becomes the beacon of academic excellence it deserves to be.
After the addresses, degrees and awards were conferred upon the graduates, and shields were presented to the distinguished guests as tokens of appreciation. The ceremony was moderated by Dr. Sajid Nazir, Dr. Aisha Rizwan, Dr. Samia Tariq, Dr. Zahra Ishtiaq Paul, and Dr. Syed Sohaib Zubair.
