IAS, University of the Punjab, organized a reference in memory of Dr. Muneer Ahmad, former Chairman of the Department of Administrative Science (now IAS), to honor his outstanding academic, professional, and institutional contributions.
The event was attended by distinguished dignitaries, retired faculty members, colleagues, alumni, students, friends, and family members.
During the reference, Mr. Rafiq Jafar presented a biographical documentary highlighting the life and legacy of Dr. Muneer Ahmad. Tributes were delivered by Prof. Qamar Abbas, Prof. Dr. Munir Ghazanfar, Prof. Dr. Seemi Waheed, Prof. Muhammad Zahid, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Anwar, and Barrister Naseem Ahmad Bajwa (through a representative), along with other friends and family members, who reflected on his remarkable academic career and lasting contributions to the development of IAS and the field of public administration.
The reference concluded with reflections and a vote of thanks by Prof. Dr. Kashif Rathore.
