Day 2-IAS hosts officers from Civil Services Academy

The Institute of Administrative Sciences (IAS), University of the Punjab, successfully concluded its two-day professional attachment program for 14 CTP under-training officers from the Civil Services Academy (CSA).

🏛 Day 2 Highlights:

Dr. Ahmad Islam, Registrar, University of the Punjab, delivered an engaging talk on governance at the University of the Punjab as a model for other public sector universities, emphasizing institutional efficiency and reform.

Mr. Tasneem Kamran, Treasurer, University of the Punjab, provided valuable insights into the budgetary processes and financial management of a large public sector university.

Dr. Ghalib Ata, from IAS, presented an exposition on the challenges faced by public sector Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and shared perspectives on futuristic planning at the University of the Punjab.

The two-day attachment concluded with closing remarks by Dr. Sidra Irfan, Associate Professor, IAS. The probationary officers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Vice Chancellor, University of the Punjab, and the Institute of Administrative Sciences for hosting them and providing a rich and insightful learning experience.

IAS continues to build bridges between academia and the civil services, fostering collaboration, capacity building, and shared learning for a stronger public sector.
