Employees’ Services Recognition Day celebrated at Institute of Administrative Sciences (IAS)

Employees are the backbone of any organization that put their efforts day in and day out to make the organization a success. Well recognized employees always perform better at their workplace. Therefore, as a part of the community work, students of BS (16-20) organized a ceremonial event to appreciate and recognize the efforts of grade 1 to 4 employees at IAS on 29th November, 2018. The project was conducted as a part of the Entrepreneurship course under the supervision of Dr. Shahid A. Zia – Director at Akhuwat Institute of Social Enterprise & Management (AISEM) and visiting faculty member at IAS. This community work provided the students an experience to implement the values of civic behavior, love and respect towards others. The organizing body of students shared their gratitude to the director and teachers for supporting their cause and joining for the event. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Nasira Jabeen – Dean FEMS and Director IAS was invited to address the audience where she shared her gratefulness to all for being the part of the institute and positively contributing towards its development. She shared the examples of committed work by staff of IAS and also encouraged students to support them by keeping the institute clean and following the code of conduct. She also encouraged staff to continue working hard to excel at their positions. Dr. Nasira Jabeen acknowledged the untiring efforts of Dr. Shahid Zia to make this ceremony a part of IAS traditions. Mr. Muhammad Zahid, BS Program coordinator, Col. Muzaffar Ali, Manager Administration, Mr. Shahzad Ahmad, Ms. Sameen Zaki, Ms. Tashfeen Fatima and other staff members also joined. One of the students, Ms. Amna Minhas presented a motivating speech to pay tribute to the dedicated staff of the institute. All employees were awarded with warm apparel gifts and were served refreshments hosted by the students. The event was a beautiful gesture of ‘caring those closer to you’ and acknowledging their efforts. IAS always appreciates and encourages such healthy and employee engagement and recognition activities to enhance cohesion among the stakeholders including employees, students and faculty. The event was highly morale boosting for staff and students & was widely attended by the employees of IAS.
