Dr Zafar ikram has a work experience of 32 years of service in Health Department – Government of Punjab. His key postings were Medical Superintendent Lahore General Hospital and Mayo Hospital Lahore. Besides, he also served as Provincial Program Coordinator MNCH Program Punjab as well as ADGHS for IRMNCH Program. He has also acted as consultant for UNICEF,TRF Plus and Rahnuma FPAP. He also worked as Deputy Program Manager in CIDA funded project of SOHIP and also as National technical advisor with USAID Deliver program.He has DHA,MBA and MPHIL Public health as his major qualifications.He has been teaching at IAS as a visiting faculty member for the last 17 years.He also has a teaching experience at IPH, LSPH,MPDD,CHPS to masters level students.He has a special interest in Hospital/ Health administration, Health economics, Health policy and Planning, and health marketing.
